Baseball Season Ends with Playoff Loss

The Tarblooders 2018 Baseball season ended yesterday with a playoff loss to Rhodes at Gordon Park. The Tarblooders finished the season with a record of 7-3. Congratulations.

Boys Track Team Wins Senate: Girls Tie For Second

The Glenville Boys Track Team finished in 1st place at the Jessie Owens Track Meet on Tuesday and the Girls Track Team  finished tied for second place overall. Congratulations.

Baseball and Softball in Full Swing

The Glenville Baseball and Softball seasons are in full swing right now. With the season about at the halfway point, The Softball Team has a league record of 3-2 while the Baseball Team is 4-1 at this point. The next seven days are very important to both team’s playoff run. Good Luck Tarblooders. 

Coach Dotson Celebration

Many Tarblooders and Friends came out to celebrate the retirement of Coach Greg Dotson with his family at his side last night. Good food and a chance to socialize and reminisce past years were the order of the evening . Congratulations Coach.

Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Program-All Welcome

Glenville will hold it’s 7th Annual Martin Luther King Scholarship Program on Sunday April 22 at 4:00 in the school auditorium. The entire community is invited to come and share in the experience. The program coincides with Dr. King’s April 1967 visit to Glenville High School.
