Glenville Cheerleaders Welcome Hillary Clinton

The Glenville Cheerleaders had the opportunity to welcome Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton to Cleveland last night at the Cuyahoga Community College Metro Campus. The team had the opportunity to show their skills for the former First Lady and a huge crowd.

Girls: It’s Not Too Late For Track and Softball Sign-Ups

The Glenville Track and Softball teams a still searching for student/athletes to sign-up. A current physical, no F’s for the third quarter and a 2.0 GPA in all that is required. We will teach you the rest. Contact Coach Williams (Girls Track) or Coach Majewski (Softball) ASAP.

Physicals-Last Chance

Spring physicals will be given at Glenville High School on March 9th at 3:00 in the school auditorium. Student/Athletes must see their coach for the exam form and have it filled out by a parent/guardian before seeing the doctor.

Ohio Graduation Test Begins on March 7th

The Ohio Graduation Test will be administered the week of March 7th. Test takers will report to school and be prepared to begin the test by 8:30. Non-test takers will follow a normal bell schedule for the week.

Spring Sports are set to begin.

Any student/athletes interested in Spring sports (Track, Baseball, Softball and Boys Tennis) should sign up immediately with the coach. Also remember that the next physicals will be held on March 9th in the auditorium.

Boys Basketball Team Enters Sectionals

The Boys Basketball Team enters the OHSAA Tournament on Wednesday at Mayfield High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00. Tickets are only available at the gate for $4.00 for students and $6.00 adults. GO TARBLOODERS.

Black History Month Celebration Includes “Naughty By Nature”

The Glenville High School Black History Month Celebration Program included a special appearance by national recording artist  Naughty By Nature and several Glenville students of the Hip-Hop Academy. The event was sponsored by the City Year members.

Basketball OHSAA Sectionals

The Glenville High School Boys and Girls Sectional basketball games have been scheduled. The girls will host Collinwood High School on Saturday February 13th at 1:00. The Boys will travel to Mayfield High School on February 24th for a 7:00 tip-off.
