Glenville Host MLK Scholarship Program

Glenville High School hosted The Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Program last night at the high school. Dozens of community members were treated to presentations the actual King S peech from Glenville 1967.

Tarblooders Participate at Cleveland Heights Meet

The Glenville Boys Track Team placedĀ  1st and 2nd in several events at the Weingart Relays on Friday night. The Meet was hosted by Cleveland Heights and included several area teams. See Baumspage for details.

Coach and Mrs. Bolden Sponsor “KEEP GOING SCHOLARSHIP”

Glenville Coach D. Bolden and Mrs. F. Bolden will sponsor theĀ annual “Keep Going Scholarship”. The $500 scholarship will be available to Glenville seniors who wish attend college of vocational school after graduation. The Scholarship recipient will be announced at Senior Honor Day on May 16th.

The Glenville JROTC Cadets host The Annual Military Ball last night with members of John F. Kennedy and Shaw High School in attendance. Good food. good music and good fun.

CHEERLEADERS WIN 3RD STRAIGHT CITY CHAMPIONSHIP

The Tarblooder Cheerleader Squad won it’s 3rd straight City Championship last night at Lincoln West High School. This win could be be attributed to hard work, high spirits and a lot of energy in their performance. Last night’s win was the 11th overall for the Tarblooders which ties them for the most by any school.
