Tarblooders vs. Euclid

The Boys Basketball teams were unsuccessful at Euclid on Saturday with loses in Freshman, JV and Varsity games. THIS WEEK: at East Tech on Friday and at Shaw on Saturday. Go Tarblooders.

Bowling Teams Make Playoffs

The Glenville Girls and Boys Bowling Teams make the Senate Playoffs. The first round begins next week with the Championships to follow the week after. Congratulations Tarblooders.

Tarblooders Lose at St. Vincent-St. Mary

The Tablooder basketball Teams lost to St.Vincent-St. Mary last night. An effective defense at the LaBron James Arena made a difficult combination for the Tarblooers to overcome. Next Game: Garfield Heights at Glenville on January 4th with a Freshman game tip-off at 4:30 and JV and Varsity to follow-Come Early.

Holiday Celebration At Glenville

Christmas holiday luncheon/pep rally everyone enjoyed themselves. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years everyone!

City Year Host Luncheon

City Year hosted lunch today for Tarblooders with excellence in attendance for the second quarter. Students and staff had choices from a fantastic menu.

Tarblooders Defeat Whitney Young High School

The Glenville Varsity and Junior Varsity defeated the teams from Whitney Young yesterday. Although the varsity game was tied at half-time, The Tarblooders took control in the second half for the victory.

Lady Tarblooders Boost Record

The Glenville Tarblooders Girls Basketball Team boosted it’s season record to 4-2 with wins over Collinwood, Max Hayes and Whitney Young. Congratulations Ladies.

Harvard University Visits Glenville

Harvard student Kacey Gill spent time today talking with Glenville Seniors about applying and attending Harvard. Gill, a Cleveland native gave a very informative presentation and ansewred questions from students.

Glenville Wins Momentum Award

Glenville High School was awarded the Momentum Award from the Ohio Department of Education. Ms. Bell and Dr. Scavella were on hand to receive the award  from Meryl Johnson of the State School Board. C ongratulations Tarblooders on a “job well done”.
